Causing Confusion

Evidently what I do best.

In Scotland people who have seen my name written down before they meet me tend to say, on introduction, "oh, but you're English..."

At Baptist Assembly people asked me where I was from (i.e. where the Gathering Place is) and then said "oh, but you're not Scottish..."

Clever these Brits, they can spot an English accent when they hear one!

  • Try being Irish with a Scots wife ministering in Wales at an Assembly in England!
