Yesterday I had my first 'open house' at my new manse.  I baked fruit cake, cheese scones and triple chocolate sponge buns.  Visitors brought lemon drizzle cake, apple crumble cake, and flap jack.  Conversations ranged far and wide, and around 15 people dropped in over the course of the morning.

It was good to be opening my home again, good to chat to people, good to 'practice hospitality' and who knows, maybe some angels did drop in.

Next month will be a fire pit and jacket spuds, December will being both a teens & twenties Christmas dinner and a Boxing Day 'soup and stroll'.  I hope that others enjoy times to relax together and that we can all deepen our relationships.
