Just read this post - and agree wholeheartedly! I enjoy it when my team win, but I hope I don't rejoice just because our rivals lose - and I hope that someone rebukes me if that ever happens.
It seems to me that as Christians we must set an example when it comes to 'rivalries' to show grace. I am dismayed at the number of Christian sports fans and, at the present moment, political commentators, where this grace seems to be absent.
